Jill Hale, MSN, ANP-BC

Ms. Hale earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University in 2008, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing in 2010. That same year, she became a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. Recognized for her academic excellence, she graduated with distinction as a Nightingale Scholar.

Ms. Hale joined Cardiology Associates of Fredericksburg in 2010, where she specializes in cardiac electrophysiology, focusing on the diagnosis and management of complex heart rhythm disorders. She holds an active certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is a dedicated member of the American College of Cardiology.

With a strong foundation in clinical practice and a passion for advancing cardiovascular health, Ms. Hale continues to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to those living with heart rhythm conditions.


Samantha Cogil, MSN, AGACNP-BC

Ms. Cogil earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2010. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University, becoming a Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2014.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Ms. Cogil gained 8 years of hands-on experience as a Registered Nurse, specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care and Critical Care. Her clinical background laid a strong foundation for her advanced practice role, where she continues to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to acutely and chronically ill patients.

She maintains an active certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is a committed member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners. Ms. Cogil’s dedication to patient-centered care and clinical excellence is evident in her ongoing work to improve outcomes for individuals with complex cardiovascular conditions.


Bobbie Leonard, MSN, FNP-BC

Ms. Leonard began her healthcare journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000, followed by an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2002. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at George Washington University, becoming a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017.

With over 25 years of diverse clinical experience, Ms. Leonard has a strong background in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. Her broad skill set and deep understanding of acute care environments allow her to deliver high-quality, responsive care to patients across a wide range of settings.

Ms. Leonard holds an active certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is an engaged member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the American Nurses Association, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

She is committed to advancing patient care through clinical excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a strong focus on compassionate, evidence-based practice.


Rajwant Dhillon, MSN, ACNPC-AG

Ms. Rajwant Dhillon began her nursing career in India in 1995 and has since built a distinguished career in cardiovascular care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Liberty University in 2014, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. In 2018, she became a Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

With over 15 years of nursing experience and more than 7 years as a Nurse Practitioner at Cardiology Associates of Fredericksburg, Ms. Dhillon brings a wealth of clinical expertise and deep compassion to her work. She has a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of cardiac conditions, including heart failure, myocardial infarctions (heart attacks), arrhythmias, and more.

Ms. Dhillon is committed to not only treating cardiovascular diseases but also preventing them. She emphasizes the importance of early detection and management of risk factors to reduce the likelihood of heart attacks, heart failure, and other cardiac events. Her approach integrates evidence-based care with a strong focus on patient education and lifestyle modification.

She holds current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale, and Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation.

Known for her compassionate care, Ms. Dhillon prioritizes building strong, lasting patient-provider relationships that empower individuals and support long-term health. Ashley McGee, MSN, FNP-BC

Ms. McGee began her nursing career after earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Northwestern Michigan College in 2008. She later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Mary Washington in 2016. In 2019, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from George Washington University and became a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

With over 8 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Ms. McGee developed a strong clinical foundation working in Cardiac Care and Progressive Care Units. Her background in managing both acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions has shaped her holistic, patient-centered approach to care.

Ms. McGee maintains an active certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is a dedicated member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is committed to delivering evidence-based care and building meaningful patient-provider relationships to improve long-term health outcomes.


Barbara O’Neill, MSN, FNP-C

Ms. O’Neill began her nursing career in 1996 after earning her Associate of Science in Nursing from Houston Baptist University. She later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Mary Washington in 2018, and in May 2020, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from George Mason University, becoming a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

With 24 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Ms. O’Neill brings extensive clinical expertise to her practice. For a decade, she cared for adult patients in Progressive Care Units, managing complex cardiac, renal, and pulmonary conditions. Currently, she specializes in cardiac electrophysiology, with a focus on diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. Her work includes the management of arrhythmias, pacemakers, and other cardiac devices, combining advanced knowledge with a patient-centered approach.

Ms. O’Neill holds an active certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is a dedicated member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American College of Cardiology, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Her ongoing commitment to clinical excellence, education, and individualized care helps improve outcomes for patients with both acute and chronic cardiac conditions.


Lindsay Callaghan, MSN, FNP-BC

 

Ms. Callaghan began her nursing career after earning her Associate of Science in Nursing from Palm Beach Community College in 2005. She continued her education at Florida Atlantic University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2016. That same year, she became a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

With over 15 years of diverse clinical experience, Ms. Callaghan has built a strong foundation in emergency medicine, critical care, and cardiology. Her broad expertise allows her to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care across a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

She holds current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support, reflecting her preparedness to manage complex, high-acuity patient scenarios.

Ms. Callaghan is known for her clinical excellence, calm under pressure, and compassionate approach to patient care—qualities that continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those she serves.


Shannon Gammill, MSN, FNP-BC

Ms. Gammill earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University in 2004. She further advanced her education by obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing from American Sentinel College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Post University in 2021, becoming a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

With over 17 years of experience in emergency medicine, Ms. Gammill brings extensive clinical expertise to her practice. She currently focuses on the care of general cardiology patients, managing a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions alongside her background in acute and critical care.

Ms. Gammill holds an active certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is a committed member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her dedication to excellence and patient-centered care continues to positively impact the communities she serves.

 

 


Rene’e Romero, DNP, FNP-C

 

Ms. Romero began her nursing education by earning an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Germanna Community College in 2015. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2016. In 2023, Ms. Romero earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Regis College, becoming a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Her extensive background in emergency medicine and primary care has equipped her with a strong foundation in acute and preventive care, critical thinking, and patient management. This diverse clinical experience has uniquely prepared her to provide comprehensive care to general cardiology patients, addressing both urgent cardiac events and long-term cardiovascular health.

She holds an active certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care to improve cardiovascular health and overall outcomes.


Ashley Chenoweth, MSN, AGACNP-BC

 

Ms. Chenoweth earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from York College of Pennsylvania in 2015. She advanced her education by obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia in 2020, becoming a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

With over eight years of nursing experience, Ms. Chenoweth has developed specialized expertise in cardiovascular and critical care. Her background enables her to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to patients facing complex acute and chronic health conditions.

She holds an active certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes optimal health outcomes.

 


Tiffany Farrell, MSN, FNP-C

Ms. Farrell earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2004. She furthered her education by completing a Master of Science in Nursing in 2023, becoming a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

With over 20 years of nursing experience, Ms. Farrell brings extensive expertise in cardiovascular and critical care. Her comprehensive clinical background enables her to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with complex cardiac and critical health needs.

Brittney Tosick, MSN, FNP-C

 

Ms. Tosick earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Post University in 2021. She further advanced her education by completing a Master of Science in Nursing in 2025, becoming a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

With over nine years of nursing experience in emergency and trauma nursing, Ms. Tosick has developed a strong foundation in acute care and critical decision-making. She now focuses her practice on cardiology, providing comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.

Shimeal Gordon, MSN, AGPCNP-BC

Ms. Gordon earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in 2017. She advanced her education by obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2024, becoming a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.

With over 10 years of nursing experience, Ms. Gordon combines her broad clinical expertise with a current focus on cardiology, providing comprehensive care for adult and older adult patients managing cardiovascular health. Her patient-centered approach emphasizes prevention, management, and wellness to support long-term heart health.
