Frank R. Snow, MD, FACC – General Cardiology
Dr. Snow earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 1982. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia—where he served as Chief Medical Resident from 1985 to 1986—he pursued specialized training by completing a rigorous cardiology fellowship at the same institution.
With decades of extensive experience in cardiology, Dr. Snow is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is a dedicated member of the American College of Cardiology and is recognized for his expertise in managing complex cardiovascular conditions. His clinical interests include congestive heart failure, hypertension, valvular heart disease, syncope, stress testing, carotid duplex imaging, and transesophageal echocardiography.
Gregory J. Kauffman, MD, FACC – General Cardiology
Dr. Kauffman earned his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1987. He completed his residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, followed by a cardiology fellowship at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Kauffman is an active member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and the Society of Cardiac CT. His special interest lies in patient-centered care, focusing on personalized approaches to improve cardiovascular health and patient outcomes.
Anh D. Vu, MD – General Cardiology
Dr. Vu earned his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in 1999. He completed his residency at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania, followed by a cardiology fellowship at Pennsylvania State University’s Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
Dr. Vu is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography. He is an active member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
His clinical interests include echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear cardiology, and peripheral vascular sonography. Dr. Vu is dedicated to employing advanced imaging techniques to provide precise diagnosis and individualized care for his patients.
Alexander Bustamante, MD, FACC – General Cardiology
Dr. Bustamante earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1999. He completed his residency at the San Diego Naval Medical Center, where he gained comprehensive training in Internal Medicine. He further specialized by completing a cardiology fellowship at the National Capital Consortium in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Bustamante is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, and Adult Echocardiography. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Bustamante combines his clinical expertise with cultural competence to provide personalized, patient-centered cardiovascular care.
He currently serves as Chief of Medicine at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, where he leads efforts to enhance quality care and clinical excellence.
Daniel Ruiz, MD – General Cardiology – Multi-Modality Cardiac Imaging

Dr. Ruiz earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 2018. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where he developed a strong foundation in comprehensive patient care. Dr. Ruiz further specialized by completing a cardiology fellowship at the University of Miami, Jackson Health System, gaining advanced expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. He then completed an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital in cardiac computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Dr. Ruiz is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Cardiac MRI. Dr. Ruiz utilizes cutting-edge imaging techniques and a patient-centered approach to deliver precise diagnoses and tailored treatment plans.
